Q: How is the policy restricting the use of plastic (Styrofoam) disposable tableware enforced?

A: It is enforced in the following ways: (1) restricting the counterpart from providing plastic (Styrofoam) disposable tableware; (2) the plastic (Styrofoam) disposable tableware referred to in the announcement means the tableware disposable after being used, including the cups, bowls, dishes, plates, meal boxes and plastic trays in the meal boxes used by convenience stores, fast food restaurants and other restaurants to hold cooked edible foods, drinks or seasonings, and the cups, meal boxes and plastic trays in the meal boxes used by department stores, shopping malls, hypermarkets and supermarkets for sale of drinks and lunch boxes, provided that the restriction does not apply to the following plastic (Styrofoam) products: 1. cup covers, cup bases and films of cups; 2. bowl covers; 3. containers holding food packaged with film and displayed on shelves.
